Map the real load directions

List radial, axial and overturning loads across the full operating cycle, including acceleration, braking, tool force and offset load conditions where applicable.

Use catalog ratings correctly

Catalog dynamic and static ratings are essential reference values, but a model should not be selected by comparing one load number alone. Combined loading, speed, duty cycle and mounting rigidity must be reviewed together.

Consider structural rigidity

A bearing may have sufficient rating while the shaft, housing, fastening parts or support spacing still create unacceptable deflection. Review the complete rotary structure.

Information needed for a technical review

Provide a load diagram, mounting drawing, operating speed, required life or duty cycle, accuracy target, environment and lubrication conditions for model review.
